Retreat and Event news

It’s certainly been an area of my work that has grown and I’ve enjoyed that this has happened pretty organically. From the first Mini-Retreat for my Nurture Hub Mums nearly 2 years ago, I’ve hosted new Mums, not-so-new Mums and more recently expanded into creating bespoke events which have included a Mother’s Day special, and a 40th birthday celebration. I’ve definitely settled into a groove in terms of what I want to offer and how I want to offer it, which is still very much rooted in holding space for women to come and just ‘be’ for a few hours; to press the pause button, gift themselves some time to rediscover calm, recharge and take some steps forward towards balance. My retreats always have a seasonal theme too, influenced by my work as a therapist guided by the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

I’m really excited to be hosting my first ever Full Day Retreat at The Roundhouse in Stoke Albany in May, a truly beautiful venue which is perfect for what I’m planning to create. For the first time I’ll be joined by other practitioners (Emma from Breath4Good and Jo from Jo Jo Sounds) who will be running Breathwork and Sound Healing sessions for me. This event SOLD OUT at Early Bird stage, but I’m delighted to be repeating the event in the Autumn with the same line-up, so if you missed out please do get in touch for details and an Early Bird rate.

I’ll be back at Yoga Local in Wellingborough, my home for Mini-Retreats, on Saturday 8th June for my Spring into Summer event. 4.5 hours of restorative relaxation in the form of yoga, sound healing and guided yoga nidra/gentle release with a homemade individually plated lunch in between sessions.
